TERMS and CONDITIONS:

I/We the purchaser, hereby acknowledge receipt of this agreement.

It is agreed by The FloorWorks, Inc. and the purchaser as follows:

Purchaser contracts The FloorWorks, Inc. to furnish and install all items as described on the purchase order.

Purchaser agrees to pay The FloorWorks, Inc. 50% of the total purchase order upon signing of this agreement and the remaining balance within 5 days of installation. If  we have your credit card on file, we will charge the balance due 48hrs. after installation.

In the event the purchaser wishes to cancel this order, all materials that have been ordered will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
*If the product is a special order or custom cut, it cannot be cancelled and the customer will be responsible for the entire cost of the materials. There will be no restocking of any materials after 20 days of delivery to The FloorWorks, Inc.

In the event full payment has not been made within 15 days of completion of the contract work, purchaser agrees to pay interest on the unpaid balance at a rate of 1.5% per month.

The FloorWorks shall provide all materials and labor as described on the purchase order.

The FloorWorks, Inc. agrees to perform all work in a good and workmanlike manner and in the event that there are any defects in workmanship, purchaser shall notify The FloorWorks, Inc. immediately.  The FloorWorks, Inc. liability hereunder shall be limited to repairing and/or replacing all defects caused by faulty workmanship.

The FloorWorks, Inc. shall in no event be liable for any defects caused by improper subfloor installation or settling or movement in buildings.

The FloorWorks, Inc. will not move any computers or electronic equipment. Please refer to our installation guidelines.

If you are buying natural stone, no two pieces are alike. Variation in color and veining are inherent in the product. All natural stone must be sealed. It is not recommended to use a contrasting grout color as this may cause staining.

If you are buying ceramic or porcelain tile, please note the majority of product has shade and dye lot variations. If we are installing over concrete, we recommend the use of  Ditra underlayment to allow for horizontal movement and avoid potential cracking of tile and grout. We will not be responsible for any cracks if you opt not to use this product.

Hardwood flooring is a product of nature. Therefore, no two boards are exactly alike, in terms of color and grain.  Mineral streaks and knots are natural occurrences and can vary in quantity depending on the species and grade of hardwood.  All hardwood floors will change color when exposed to light and air, exotic woods tend to change sooner and the change can be extreme.  Please make sure you understand the species and grade of wood you are purchasing.
